Located 70 miles southeast of La Paz, Baja California Sur, and 35 miles
north of Los Cabos Airport off Mexico's Highway 1, Hotel Buenavista Beach
Resort is set on the coast between the majestic Baja desert and the Sea of
Cortez. Transportation is easy: Alaska Airlines, Aero Mexico, Mexicana,
Continental, America West, and Aero California all have frequent flights
to Cabo San Lucas and La Paz. We would be happy to arrange transportation
for you, including ground transportation. Just let us know when you make
your reservations.

Offers Variety for the perfect vacation. Mediterranean style bungalows
with private patios, hammocks, and morning coffee offer relaxed luxury. A
diversity of activities include swimming, tennis, horseback riding,
kayaking, snorkeling, biking and hiking. End a day of exercise with a
treatment from the hotel's massage therapist. Then relax on the terrace or
in the bar with friends, new and old, and perhaps enjoy some local
entertainment.

long list of possibilities to relax and have fun. Group activities are

The
beautiful Sea of Cortez offers
some of the best sport fishing in the world, including blue, black and
striped marlin, enormous wahoo, tuna, yellowtail, sailfish, roosterfish
and dorado.
Hotel Buenavista's fishing fleet is the most experienced on the East
Cape, and includes 22 boats, from 23-foot Super Pangas and 29-foot Phoenix
Cruisers to a 31-foot Cruiser. All are fully equipped with safety and
fishing equipment and are manned by professional crews (experienced in
both conventional and fly-fishing) who know the sea and its denizens.

We Support a Catch-and-Release
Hotel Buenavista Beach Resort believes strongly in conserving our natural resources, and supports the Worldwide Billfish Foundation and its catch-and-release program. In fact, 75% of our billfish are released to fight another day (more than 1300 this past year alone).

In addition, most of Hotel Buenavista's captains are participating in the
Captains 25+ Release Team awards program, sponsored by the Billfish Foundation and Penn Fishing Tackle. As part of the Billfish
Foundation's worldwide effort to promote the catch-and-release concept,
the Captains 25+ Release Team provides special recognition to captains who
release more than 25 billfish annually.
Last year alone, Hotel Buena Vista
released more than 990 billfish to fight another day.
